General: The AVM M30 is a very musical and compact mono power amplifier set.

Technical: AVM equipment is known for quality and durability. The M30 are Class A/AB amplifiers that use Mosfets, transistors known for their musical properties. The oversized power supply is a beautiful, powerful and silent linear power supply with large toroidal transformer. The AVM M30 can be connected with both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs. There are 2 sets of loudspeaker outputs per amplifier, which allows bi-wiring with 2 separate single wire cables. The metal enclosure is sleekly finished, and the size of the M30 is relatively compact and thus easy to place.

Listening: The AVM M30 has a very refined and musical sound. The presentation is very detailed and spacious, but also very pleasant to listen to. The sound features a mild warm glow that makes the music richer and gives it more body. Yet the AVM M30 cannot be called slow or woolly amplifiers. It sounds like a classic sound in a modern package, pleasant and comfortable, but in a dynamic and rhythmic way.
