General: The Gigawatt PC-2 Evo is the Basic Topline Power Conditioner from Gigawatt with 6 outlets and featuring Gigawatt Power Buffers. Designed as a connection station for better HiFi and High End installations. The Gigawatt PC-2 Evo features 3 sets of highly advanced power conditioning circuits, thus 3 x 2 separate outlets for digital, low power analog and high power analog. Each outlet delivers 3850 watts continuously, thus total without dynamic loss. The Gigawatt PC-2 Evo protects your installation moreover against overload from sudden power spikes. It is the ideal power source for every HiFi and Video installation. The Gigawatt Evo series Power Conditioners consume barely any power and experience minimal wear. The Gigawatt PC-2 Evo comes standard with a very good power cord, the Gigawatt LC-1 MK3 in 1.5 meter length. This Gigawatt PC-2 Evo Power Conditioner, however, is supplied with the Gigawatt LC-2 MK3 power cord. With this cable, all positive characteristics are clearly further improved.

Despite the fact that the Gigawatt PC-2 Evo is the most affordable 6 outlet Power Conditioner from Gigawatt, it is a perfect device to improve the performance of your system. The Gigawatt PC-2 Evo is very solidly built and has a massive aluminum front panel.

Technical: The Gigawatt PC-2 Evo is equipped with advanced Multi Stage Parallel filters (Iron Powder Filtering Cores) instead of the usual transformers. This Gigawatt PC-2 Evo is also equipped with 3 separate zones. A separate zone for Digital devices (CD players, DA Converters, Streamers), a separate zone for low power Analog (Preamplifiers, Phono preamplifiers, Turntables) and a separate zone for High Power Analog (Amplifiers, Power Amplifiers). The advantage of this is that the connected devices can no longer interfere with each other. A power amplifier often tends to send power back into the net, and this is prevented this way. The Gigawatt PC-2 Evo is made of very high quality components. Due to the new high efficiency filter circuits, the components are mounted on new boards, soldered with silver solder. The circuit boards themselves are single-sided and equipped with 70 μm thick copper traces. The power distribution is via heavy polished copper bars. The Gigawatt PC-2 Evo has a special protection system, implemented without wires or fuses. Fuses affect signal speed and are therefore not used. The overvoltage protection circuit is controlled by a sensor at the input and is equipped with a Plasma relay. This way the Gigawatt PC-2 Evo provides your system with excellent protection against overvoltage or power spikes. Proper operation of the Gigawatt PC-2 Evo is indicated by a blue LED on the front. The Gigawatt PC-2 Evo is also equipped with an additional circuit that monitors the power supply. Also very handy is the Phase indicator, via a red LED on the back. If it lights up, the PC-2 Evo is connected incorrectly and you must reverse the power plug. This way your system is always connected correctly to the proper phase and the Gigawatt PC-2 Evo functions as it should. The Gigawatt PC-2 Evo is equipped with 6 high quality Gigawatt G-040 Shuko outlets. These outlets are equipped with heavy brass bars, which at Gigawatt are silver-plated and polished. The large contact surface and the heavy silver coating guarantee a very long lifespan, even with repeated insertion and removal of plugs. The Gigawatt PC-2 Evo is built in a heavy and stable metal housing, has a massive anodized aluminum front panel, and stands on anti resonance feet.
