The Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo is the ultimate power cleaner for mid-sized High End music and video installations. The Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo is very solidly built, with a massive aluminum front.

The Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo is the Special Edition version of the Gigawatt PC-3 Evo. Designed as a connection station for Top High End installations. The Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo contains a number of technical upgrades compared to the PC-3 Evo. The PC-3 SE Evo features advanced power conditioning circuits and protects your installation against overload. It is the ideal source for any High End installation. Unlike power plants from some competitors, the Gigawatt itself consumes barely any power, only a few watts. A power plant that needs to deliver 500 watts also consumes about 500 watts itself, gets hot, and deteriorates. The Gigawatt Evo series power conditioners don't suffer from this; they consume minimal power thanks to passive filtering and therefore experience virtually no wear.

Power Cord:

This Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo is supplied without a power cord. However, the power connection cable is very important. It is the supply to the power conditioner and there should be no signal loss. Gigawatt supplies extremely good power cords, suitable for the Evo series power conditioners. For the PC-3 SE Evo we recommend the Gigawatt LC-3 Evo or LS-1 Evo.

Technical Details:

The Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo is equipped with advanced Multi Stage Parallel filtering instead of the usual transformers. This Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo also features 3 separate zones. One zone for high current equipment such as amplifiers, a zone for analog equipment such as preamplifiers or phono stages, and also a zone for digital equipment such as CD players and streamers. Each zone consists of 2 outlets, so the Gigawatt PC-3 SE has 6 outlets in total. The Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo is made from ultra high quality components. Due to the new high efficiency filter circuits, the components are mounted on new boards, soldered with silver solder. The circuit boards themselves are double-sided and equipped with 280µm thick copper traces. Current distribution occurs via heavy silver-plated and polished copper bars. The Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo has a special protection system, implemented without wires or fuses. These can affect signal speed and are therefore not used. The overvoltage protection circuit is controlled by a sensor at the input and is equipped with a plasma relay. This provides the Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo with excellent protection against overvoltage or power surges. The Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo features a dual current distribution system compared to a single one in the standard PC-3 Evo. Proper operation of the Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo is indicated by a blue LED on the front. The Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo also features an additional circuit that monitors the power supply. Also very handy is the phase indicator, using a red LED on the rear so you don't connect the Gigawatt PC-3 SE incorrectly. The Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo is equipped with an accurate red LED display that indicates the voltage. This Gigawatt PC-3 SE has the optional display switch built in so you can also turn off the LED display on the front. The Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo is equipped with 6 high quality Gigawatt G-040 Shuko outlets. These outlets are fitted with heavy brass contacts, which are silver-plated and polished at Gigawatt. The large contact area and heavy silver layer guarantee very high durability, even with repeated insertion and removal of plugs. The Gigawatt PC-3 SE Evo is built in a heavy metal enclosure with a massive anodized aluminum front and stands on anti-resonance feet.
