General : The Harbeth Super HL5 Plus is the successor to the Super HL5 Signature.

Technology : The Super HL5 Plus features newly developed drivers and filter technology. The cabinet has also been adapted. The cabinet of every Harbeth remains a combination of relatively light panels damped with bitumen which have very low self-resonance. Harbeth does not use ultra-stiff cabinets, because, according to Harbeth, cabinet walls will always vibrate anyway, so you might as well use a cabinet wall that vibrates at a low frequency instead of at a high frequency. There is something to that. The most important innovation is the new woofer, the new Radial 2 Bass Midwoofer. But the 25mm tweeter and the 20mm supertweeter are also new.
