The IPS technology of this screen ensures realistic color reproduction and a wide viewing angle, meaning the display is clearly readable from many different angles. Right next to the screen is a rotary knob for volume control. The display of the Hifi Rose RS250 provides a luxurious appearance, and the build quality and operation of the Hifi Rose RS250 feel the same way. Anyone can use the Hifi Rose on the go, yet the software has a luxurious feel. The Hifi Rose RS250 is versatile and can be used as a Music Server, Music & Video (up to 4K) Streamer, DAC and Preamp. The Hifi Rose RS250 can be equipped with an SSD drive to store music, with up to 4TB capacity that can be installed easily. The Hifi Rose RS250 can also retrieve music from external network locations such as a NAS or NUC, and it is also possible to play music from an external USB storage location such as a Hard Drive or USB stick. The DAC used in the Hifi Rose RS250 is a high-quality DAC that uses ES9038 Q2M DAC chips. The Hifi Rose RS250 is also Roon Ready and can therefore also be placed behind a Roon Server as a player. These apps can be controlled directly via the touchscreen on the front, but of course also via the HiFi Rose app called 'Rose Connect' on your phone or tablet. You can also control the Hifi Rose RS250 with the included remote control. The display is fully adjustable, so you can display multiple things on it. You can fully dim the display, you can play Youtube videos from it, but you can also set the display to show VU-meters of which you can choose the color yourself.
