Technical : The Capri 2 is the latest version of the little brother of Jeff Rowland's Corus preamplifier. The Capri 2 is, like the Corus, manufactured in a solid one-piece milled aluminum chassis. Top quality, extremely durable and very insensitive to external vibrations. The new Ultra Low Noise power supply is suitable for worldwide use. The expensive 4-layer circuit boards are the most modern available on the market. The output impedance is particularly low and the Capri 2 drives all power amplifiers with ease. The volume control is a 200-step half dB increments, thin film resistor version, for extremely low thermal noise, and zero wear. The Capri 2 also has an excellent balance control on board, without loss of quality. All inputs are transformer-coupled for optimal isolation between components. The remote control is a compact version with the most commonly used buttons. You can also dim the display. Optional expansion modules are available for the Jeff Rowland Capri 2, such as a phono input and 192KHz DAC. All connectors are Rhodium Plated for the best sound quality and longest lifespan.
