Technical : The Jeff Rowland Continuum S2 is a beautifully constructed amplifier. This Jeff Rowland Continuum S2 is built around the new Capri S2 preamplifier in class A and a Jeff Rowland proprietary digital amplifier technology. The Jeff Rowland Continuum S2 has the capacity to drive virtually any speaker in the world well. The Jeff Rowland Continuum S2 delivers 2 x 400 Watts continuous power at 8 Ohms, which is very substantial. The construction of the Jeff Rowland Continuum S2 and the chosen materials are of top quality. A heavy and thick solid aluminum front panel, but also the chassis itself is made of milled aluminum plates. The Jeff Rowland Continuum S2 is not excessively large and heavy, but rather delightfully compact. All connections, balanced and unbalanced, are available, and the Capri S2 front stage has its own output for subwoofers and/or bi-amping. You can equip the Jeff Rowland Continuum S2 with a phono module, which in this case is built in. An excellent phono module for MM and MC, and a remote control is also included. Although the Jeff Rowland is a class D amplifier, it certainly does not sound like one.
