In short, the specific features :

• The CDP-707 integrates various original mechanical solutions, such as its own (Lector Manufactured) laser mechanism and specially made copper spring suspension.
• External power supply with three powerful ring-core high-flux transformers and separately switched Analog, Digital and Control Systems.
• Exclusive CD clamp with dual-axis stabilization effect through special neodymium magnet
• Carefully selected dual mono PCM-1704 BB 24-bit DACs, mounted on an independent PCB board for perfect jitter reduction
• Zero negative feedback in the analog stage. Instead, an original circuit, a tube output stage with cathode direct coupling
• Passive dithering circuit providing true 24-bit resolution (Lector original circuit design)
• Custom made CD mechanism with three isolated mounting plates, and a vibration control system for the spindle motor
• Original patented servo digital board with new technological solution
• The power supply circuit features no fewer than 14 regulated power lines, and has only 1 output capacitor in the signal path, a custom made, aluminum cast, film/foil capacitor from aerospace technology.
• The analog output uses a single output triode tube, which is set fully in Class A operation, after which only a first order filter is applied, so that phase is not affected.

The CD mechanism is completely spring and damping suspended in rubber / neoprene

The original magnetic clamping system provides more stability to the CD rotation, so that the dual stabilization operates on two axes: Horizontal and vertical. This puck is very light and equipped with a Neodymium magnet.

The Lector CDP-707 plays with the standard triple PSU-3T power supply at a very high level. The emphasis of the CDP-707 is not on technology, but purely on sound.
