Description :Uncompromisingly built reference loudspeaker from America. The Magico V3 is the predecessor of the Magico Q3 and a true top loudspeaker for music lovers. Beautifully crafted from solid laminated birch strips and a billet aluminum front plate. The tests were unanimous: An outstanding loudspeaker with a particularly holographic, natural reproduction. Very heavily built and extremely solid. This Magico V3 set is in excellent condition and comes complete with wooden cases, spikes, manual etc.

Technical : The Magico V3 is made of birch wood strips, not MDF like most loudspeakers. Magico chose this because birch wood is much stiffer than MDF. The front plate is made from a solid aluminum plate, which is completely custom-milled for the drivers. The drivers are clamped on the back and cannot vibrate loose. The drivers themselves are specifically designed examples by Magico, with Nanotec cones and neodymium magnets for the bass and midrange drivers. The elliptical filter technology is very exclusive, proprietary to Magico, and fitted with ultra-expensive components. The Magico V3 is single-wired and features beautiful solid copper Mundorf connectors. Also remarkable is the fact that the enclosure is sealed. This guarantees an ultra-clean, tight bass response that goes very deep and is very well-controlled.

Sound : The Magico V3 is in many respects a milestone in loudspeaker history. It was then and it still is. The Magico V3 sounds very analog, calm, precise but also dynamic, with enormous imaging. Singers and musicians seem to be performing live in the room. Eerily realistic, but without a trace of nervousness. Truly a loudspeaker to listen to music with for hours on end. Also not tuned for spectacular sound but for musicality. The Magico V3 has a spectacular large spatial representation and is very transparent across the entire frequency range. One of our favorites.
