The very solidly built and excellently sounding Mark Levinson No 390S is a 24 Bit CD player with built-in Analog preamplifier for direct connection to power amplifiers. This preamplifier with ladder-controlled resistors in the volume control comes directly from the volume control of the No 32 Reference Preamplifier. This 390S distinguishes itself from the No 39 in that its audio board is made of the very expensive Arlon 25N, which is also used in other reference products from Mark Levinson. The Mark Levinson No 390S also has 2 digital inputs, so you can connect your streamer directly to this CD Processor. Spotify, Qobuz, Tidal, all these services are passed through by, for example, your Ripstreamer (XL) and these then benefit from the very high quality DA Converter on board the Mark Levinson No 390S. This Mark Levinson No 390S is a Factory Upgrade 390S, and is in excellent condition, plays excellently, had a service in 2016, and comes complete with the original heavy metal remote control, and 6 months warranty.
