Technique : The Marten Duke 2 is a compact two-way speaker, fitted with the very best cabinet materials, driver technology and filter technology. Copper foil coils and silver/gold oil capacitors, it's all there. It is a beautifully built speaker, with many layers of high gloss lacquer over the equally lovely walnut enclosure. The Marten Duke 2 has a redesigned filter, a new woofer/midrange unit and tweeter and a single wiring connection instead of the biwire connection of the Duke 1. The Duke 2 can only be used with single wiring. The Marten Duke 2 is relatively easy to control, with transistor technology, digital amplifiers or tubes. The matte silk-sprayed stands, with their aluminium tubes are included. These stands can be filled with sand, for a more stable sound and greater safety.
