General : The ElectroMotion ESL is the smallest model from Martin Logan.

Technology : The Martin Logan ElectroMotion ESL is an electrostatic loudspeaker with a conventional active bass. This means that the midrange and treble are reproduced by a very thin and light diaphragm that is tensioned between two grilles that generate an electrical field. This diaphragm is equipped with a conductive coating, allowing it to respond to changes in the electrical field when a music signal passes through the grilles. The crossover point is at 500Hz, with the electrostatic handling the entire range between 500-22,000Hz. Everything below that is handled by the 8" bass units at the bottom.

Listening Experience : The Martin ElectroMotion ESL sounds transparent and refined. The stereo image is grand and tall, partly because the diaphragm is a line source. Bass is also abundant, and the transition between woofer and diaphragm is seamless. This Martin Logan ElectroMotion ESL set is still in excellent condition and comes complete with the original packaging. This set is ready for many more years of musical enjoyment in your home.
