General : The Master Three is a 2-way standmount speaker which is made in the Netherlands by Rick Paap, the designer of Master. Master has been operating in the high-quality audio market for quite some time now and has built a good reputation. This Master Three makes use of high-quality drivers such as a woofer with a Kevlar cone and a good dome tweet. The cabinet design is deep and there is a bass reflex port on the rear side. Because of this, the Master Three can deliver a nice and mature bass response despite their relatively compact format.

Listening : The Master Three sounds transparent, natural and spatial. It is a speaker with very good and refined dynamics. The playback is detailed and clearly understandable, but also musical and enjoyable. For the money you pay today for such a set of Master Three, there is little better to be found.

This Master Three set has no obvious damage, we give the set a visual rating of 8.5/10 because over the years the speakers have discolored somewhat. In 2020 the woofers were replaced and the crossovers underwent an upgrade, the invoice for this is available. The set plays beautifully.
