Technical : The Matsunami SE 300B is a pure Class A power amplifier set built around the 300B tube and constructed with top-quality components. The transformers come from Japan and are hand-wound by Hashimoto Transformer. The amplifier set is set to 100% Class A operation and is entirely Single Ended design. The entire music signal is amplified by only one 300B tube. Crossover distortion cannot occur and that is highly beneficial. No harsh sound. The Matsunami SE 300B is entirely hardwired. It contains no printed circuit boards. The chassis itself is beautifully crafted from solid wood, and the base plate is also wood. The expensive output transformers have output taps for 4 ohm, 8 ohm and 16 ohm. The bias setting for the 300B tube is automatic.
