Not standard DAC chips, but a fully discrete built DAC. The Meitner MA-1 automatically locks on all inputs at 16bit/44.1KHz through 24bit/192KHz, also via USB through Meitner's unique MFAST system. All incoming PCM and DSD64 signals are upsampled to DSD128, or 5.6mHz, 2 times the quality of an SACD. In terms of sound, the Meitner MA-1 ranks among the TOP DA Converters currently available.
