General : The Monitor Audio PLW215 II is the largest and finest subwoofer Monitor Audio has ever made. It is an enormous powerhouse that weighs a full 57.5 kg. The PLW215 II enclosure is sealed, which provides tight bass reproduction without resonant bass ports. The two 15-inch C-CAM woofers are positioned on both sides, in this configuration they produce minimal resonances inside the enclosure, resulting in cleaner bass reproduction. The enclosure itself consists of 25mm thick MDF panels internally reinforced with braces. The total amplifier power for both woofers is 1,400 Watts with peak power of up to 2,000 Watts. The woofers themselves are C-CAM woofers, which stands for Ceramic Coated Aluminium Magnesium, this cone material is lightweight and rigid and provides both woofers and midrange drivers with clean and tight sound.

The Monitor Audio PLW215 II can be controlled in 3 ways, either on the subwoofer itself, with the included remote control, or via the SubConnect application.
