General : It is well known that the CD is generally a flawless medium. However, there are certain treatments for CDs that can improve sound quality. Think of grinding, demagnetizing or discharging static electricity. The Nespa Pro takes a slightly different approach. From the factory, or after frequent use, a CD will undergo microscopic contamination. This causes the precision with which a laser reads the data from the CD to decrease. The Nanotec Nespa Pro uses an ultra bright lamp to make these contaminants "evaporate" in a very short flash. The result is a CD that is cleaner and plays more smoothly because less error correction needs to be applied. This Nanotec Nespa Pro is in good working condition. However, we cannot confirm the number of rotation cycles and thus the lifespan of the lamp.
