General : Exclusive High End high efficiency horn speaker from the German brand Odeon Audio.

Technical : The Odeon Helix is the smallest 3-way speaker from Odeon Audio. That doesn't necessarily mean it's a compact speaker, but they're certainly not gigantic (in the photos they look larger than they actually are). The cabinet consists of 2 separate parts, the lower half features the bass woofer and thus provides the low end, and on top of that comes the section with the midrange driver with large horn and tweeter with a smaller horn. Because it's a horn speaker with high efficiency, you can actually get by well with almost any amplifier, they sound best with a nice tube amplifier or small class A amplifier. Even 300B tubes with 8 watts per channel single ended do excellent work on the Odeon Helix and you won't lack anything, not even in bass reproduction. Odeon Audio uses fantastic real wood veneers, this set is finished in the very clean and light Poplar veneer finish and the result is impressive, you don't see this type of finish every day, which makes this set of Odeon Audio Helix a real eye-catcher.

Listening : The Odeon Helix have a very musical sound. Once connected to a nice tube amplifier, these beautiful speakers create a fantastic soundstage. We've played acoustic music, electronic music, brass instruments and even hard rock on them. What's special is that the Odeon Helix handles everything well. With acoustic instruments, all details are extremely audible, yet you never get the impression that it sounds forced or exaggerated, it simply sounds effortless. With heavier music such as electronic music, the Odeon Helix delivers a very stable sound image with a beautiful deep and controlled bass response. This bass response is so well balanced that we can say that these 3-way floor-standing speakers also work well in a medium to smaller listening room. Even with hard rock, the Odeon Audio didn't go off the rails, they sound lively and musical but completely in control. In short, the Odeon Helix are at home with all kinds of music and they sound fantastic. Combined with the brilliant finish, this means pleasure for ear and eye time and again.

This set of Odeon Audio Helix is in perfect condition. Because the cabinet consists of 2 parts, it's easy to lift and these speakers fit in many cars. Unfortunately the original packaging is no longer available, so these speakers can only be delivered by us or picked up by you.
