Das Besondere an die Pass XA30.5 ist, dass es vollständig in der Klasse A eingestellt steht, für die Ausgangstransistoren und dass ist immer noch das meist musikalische concept. So die Pass XA30.5 wird Warm, und muss frei stehen. 30Watt ist vollig Klasse A, aber bei grosse spitze springt die Pass XA30.5 aus Class A Betrieb, um bis 130Watt an 8 Ohm ohne Verzerrung zu geben Die Pass XA30.5 eignet sich daher auch für Lautsprecher mit einer geringeren nennwerte.
