Technical : The Pathos Endorphin is a tube CD player with high-quality finishing. The tubes used in the Pathos Endorphin are 6H30-pi tubes. The transport is a durable Philips CD-PRO-2 mechanism which will last for many years. The chassis is made of stainless steel, and the large magnetic puck for the CD is also made of stainless steel. The DAC is a Crystal chipset which upsamples to 24bit / 192kHz. The chassis is mounted on spikes for greater stability. A stylish remote is also included, however the function of the buttons on both the CD player and the remote is not indicated on the buttons themselves. Therefore some familiarization after reading the manual is required before you will operate it intuitively.

Listening : The Pathos Endorphin sounds as beautiful as it looks. Warm, powerful, lively and organic. The tubes give the sound a friendly character which virtually never crosses the irritation threshold. Listening fatigue is not an issue with the Pathos Endorphin. The soundstage is large and clearly visible, the sound has great depth and is very engaging. All in all, the Pathos Endorphin is very versatile for many different music genres. Everything sounds detailed and refined with warm undertones. This Pathos Endorphin is in absolute like-new condition and is supplied in its original wooden crate, together with the original remote & accessories.
