Technical : The PS Audio NuWave DAC3 is a very affordable DAC that fits into any system. The NuWave is considerably more affordable than the PerfectWave but still delivers the very high sound quality that PS Audio is known for. The NuWave can be connected both balanced and unbalanced. This PS Audio NuWave DAC3 is from the latest generation (without DSD), fully balanced Burr Brown chips with a resolution up to 24bit/192kHz. You have the option to upsample all incoming signals to 192kHz, but you can also play them as they are.

Listening : The PS Audio NuWave DAC sounds extremely musical for its price, very open, refined and spatial. The sound is natural and organic, which provides an interesting and comfortable listening experience, even during longer listening sessions. It is beautifully finished with a high-gloss black top and is undoubtedly one of the best DACs for this price. This PS Audio NuWave DAC comes with the original box, but we had custom foam made as the original foam pieces were discarded by the first owner (the DAC was subsequently owned by a second owner and then returned to us). The PS Audio NuWave DAC is now available for audition in one of our showrooms.
