Technical : The SMSL Audio VMV D2R can play virtually all file formats, from MP3 to PCM 32bit/768kHz and DSD files up to DSD512. The chassis is not large, but very solid and sturdy, skillfully CNC machined in a stylish manner with a sturdy tempered glass plate placed in front of the display. The DAC chips are the ROHM flagship BD34301EKV DAC chips, the clock circuit is a newly designed CK-03 clock processing circuit which generates very little clock jitter. The built-in power supply is a very quiet linear power supply with toroidal transformer, all components used are of high quality and the inputs and outputs are also gold-plated. A beautiful aluminum remote control is included. All of this together makes for an excellent D/A Converter with a compact format, without compromising on quality, making it a musical and stylish top-tier device in terms of price and performance.
