The Sonus Faber Amati Palladio is the rarest Amati on the market. Specially for the 500th anniversary of the famous architect Andrea Palladio, Sonus Faber produced 50 special Amati Anniversario speakers. This is number 13/50. The difference with the standard Amati Anniversario is clearly evident. The cabinet is made of Maple, the internal wiring uses Palladium-coated cables, and Rhodium connectors. The Amati Palladio is a 3-way loudspeaker system equipped with the finest units. It features a 25mm ultra-linear Ring radiator tweeter, a highly costly 150mm midrange driver, the same as in the Stradivari, and two 220mm Magnesium woofers. The crossover is exclusively equipped with premium components, and for this Amati Palladio, Sonus Faber has mounted several special components. The efficiency of the Amati Palladio is pleasantly high at 92dB, so even small amplifiers and tube amplifiers perform exceptionally well with these top-tier loudspeakers. The solid wooden cabinet, made of Maple, is lacquered 10 times with special lacquer, and the finish is incredible. You won't find anything more beautiful than the Amati Palladio. Sonically, the Amati Palladio is a very refined loudspeaker. A warm and relaxed sound balance, but also very detailed and dynamic. The bass goes very deep and sounds beautifully controlled. This pair of Amati Palladio comes with a set of custom-made heavy granite plates, 5cm thick and weighing 50kg each. The Sonus Faber Amati Palladio is a unique and highly exclusive loudspeaker.
