General : The Sonus Faber Olympica 2 is a beautifully built and sounding floor-standing loudspeaker.

Technical : Built with the finest materials, this Olympica is a model of elegance. The cabinet features an A-Symmetric design. A horn-like shape but adapted. The A-symmetry creates a quiet internal acoustics. The Olympica series cabinet is therefore very silent. No rumbling or knocking from the cabinet. The reflex port is also a Sonus Faber development. No blowing bass ports, but a Stealth Ultraflex port, which functions excellently. The crossover is also of very high quality, with beautiful Mundorf Evo oil capacitors and Jantzen coils. The top is made of solid walnut wood, finished with leather. The Olympica 2 is a 3-way system with very nice drivers, and it sounds excellent.

Sound : The sound is typically the new Sonus Faber, so quietly tuned, but also very refined and now also dynamic and very transparent. The soundstage is grand, compelling and, as mentioned, also dynamically refined. The dynamics are excellent and this Olympica series sounds more dynamic than the previous series, but with the retention of the passionate and musical reproduction. The bass reproduction is solid, pure and deep. The Sonus Faber Olympica 2 is new in unopened packaging and is standard in stock and available, supplied with 5 years warranty from the NL importer.
