Type : 3.5 way floorstanding loudspeaker finished in Acrylic Piano Black. This is one of the last delivered Thiel CS-6.

Technique : the Thiel CS-6 is equipped with its own developed coaxial midrange/high unit. The tweeter is positioned in the heart of the midrange driver. The woofer is an aluminum version equipped with a huge magnet. The system is supported by a large passive woofer which reduces stress in the cabinet and extends the bass response deeper. The Thiel CS-6 has a phase-correct 6dB filter and is exceptionally well tuned. The cabinet is also special. It weighs a full 70Kg which is partly due to the massive composite concrete front. Extremely stable and very vibration-resistant.

Sound : The Thiel CS-6 is a very generously-sounding speaker. Grand, very spacious and fine-dynamic. The bass quality is excellent and it goes very deep without booming. This is typically a loudspeaker you can listen to for hours and hours on end without listener fatigue. A superb loudspeaker.
