The new Gigawatt PowerSync powercord is the latest entry-level powercord from Gigawatt. With conductors made of pure OFHC copper. Fully shielded with aluminum foil, PVC and braided fiberglass & nylon and equipped with excellent connectors. This high-quality powercord is very suitable for many hifi and video components, and the Gigawatt Powerstrips and Powerconditioners also perform excellently with this cable.

Gigawatt uses only pure quality in their products. The difference between all Gigawatt cables lies in the choice of materials, the amount of conductive material, the damping properties and the shielding.

The conductors of the Gigawatt PowerSync consist of 3 x 2.0mm2 OFHC copper conductors. The conductors are multi-strand, consisting of 10 solid core wires with a diameter of 0.514mm. OFHC stands for Oxygen Free High Conductivity 99.997% copper, a very pure material that causes little to no distortion. The Gigawatt PowerSync powercord also features an uninsulated tinned wire for contact with the inner shielding foil layer over the entire length of the cable, which means the entire shielding of the cable is active and no radiation from outside is let in. Around the inner aluminum shielding layer are 2 more shielding layers, namely 1 layer of PVC, and around the PVC layer you will find the outer layer which consists of braided fiberglass & nylon. The very low impedance of the cable makes the Gigawatt PowerSync suitable for better Hifi and High End Audio and Video installations. The connection plugs are the excellent and solid Gigawatt G-010N and G-030N connectors, made of pure OFC copper and protected with a nickel coating layer.

Listening Experience:

The Gigawatt PowerSync is a cable that does practically everything right. A beautiful dynamics coupled with a pure sound. The bass is tight and well-defined. The Gigawatt PowerSync sounds more refined and controlled than its predecessor (the LC-1 Evo), and the PowerSync is also thicker but also more flexible. The Gigawatt PowerSync is the ideal entry-level cable in the High End Audio world, and the sound difference compared to standard cables supplied with equipment is significant.
