General : The Kaiser Kawero Classic is the top model of German Kaiser. It is a very distinctively built and exceptionally sounding loudspeaker. The Kaiser Kawero Classic rarely appears on the secondhand market, so this is your chance. This set is in like-new condition and features beautiful premium Wood Santos Pallisander with optional Echole internal wiring and Still Point Feet. Complete with original packaging.

Technical : The Kaiser Kawero Classic is made of tankwood. Tankwood is ultra-dense pressed wood, and it is resonance-free and even bulletproof. For this reason, tankwood is also used in armored limousines. Tankwood is very difficult to work with, and building an enclosure requires enormous time and energy. The enclosure is therefore ultra-heavy and virtually resonance-free. According to Kaiser, tankwood is many times better than aluminum, for example, which a notorious competitor uses. The Kaiser is equipped with the best units in the world. Bass, midrange, and the passive radiator come from Audio Technology and are custom-made to specification. Huge magnets drive the drivers, and these can make large excursions. The midrange driver is engaged from 60Hz and is also supported by a passive radiator on the rear. You don't see that often. Together with this passive radiator, the notorious Baffle Step is eliminated, so the midrange doesn't need to be damped. The radiation is also optimal and the efficiency is high. In this case 92dB at 1 meter, so even with small amplifiers the Kaiser Kawero Classic performs excellently. The tweeter is a genuine Ribbon tweeter from RAAL, coupled with a silver/palladium transformer. The tweeter's phase is adjustable, and the direction can also be adjusted for optimal room adaptation. The filter technology uses expensive components from Duelund and Mundorf. All in all, this makes the Kaiser Kawero Classic a true reference-class loudspeaker.

Sound Quality : The Kaiser Kawero Classic sounds truly fantastic. Very detailed, with enormous soundstaging. The midrange is full and robust, and very tuneful. Even playing very softly, you won't miss any detail. The bass goes deep and sounds pure and tight. The overall effect is reminiscent of much larger reference loudspeakers. The Kaiser Kawero sounds truly as one. We have driven the Kaiser Kawero Classic with VTL tube amplifiers, a 2x40 watt Acoustic Plan Sitar and the mighty Bricasti M-28, and always with great success.
