General : The MA900 from German Magnat is an integrated hybrid amplifier and combines the best of tubes with solid-state amplification into a beautiful whole. The MA900 also comes with many features and connectivity. The preamplification is handled by two ECC 81 tubes, which are already burned in by Magnat itself and have a long lifespan. The transistor power amplifiers have a power of 200 Watts at 4 Ohm and 130 Watts at 8 Ohm. This is enough for virtually all listening situations and, combined with the sound character of the ECC 81 tubes, provides a powerful yet pleasantly smooth sound. In addition to pre- and power amplification, the MA900 also has a built-in DAC and phono preamplifier. The DAC is capable of converting files up to 24-bit/192 kHz and the phono preamplifier is suitable for both MM and MC. On the front of the amplifier you will find a headphone output and some buttons for balance and tone control. As a final touch, this amplifier also has a high-quality Bluetooth receiver on board, which can be very handy during parties for example.
