Technology : The Marten Duke 2 is a compact two-way speaker, equipped with the very best cabinet materials, driver technology and filter technology. Copper foil coils and silver/gold oil capacitors, it's all there. It is a beautifully built speaker, with many layers of high gloss over the equally fine walnut cabinet. The Marten Duke 2 has a redesigned filter, a new tweeter and a single wiring connector instead of the biwire connection of the Duke 1. The Duke 2 can therefore only be used with single wiring. The Marten Duke 2 is relatively easy to drive, with transistor technology, digital amplifiers or tubes. The silk-matte painted stands, with their aluminum tubes, are included. These stands can be filled with sand, for a more stable sound and greater safety.

Sound : The Marten Duke 1 is already extremely good, but the Marten Duke 2 is simply one of the best speakers under € 20.000,00. Although the Marten Duke 2 is a compact speaker, it fills the entire room with sound. Dynamic, open, very transparent and without a trace of harshness. The spatial reproduction is enormous.
