Not standard DAC chips, but a fully discretely built DAC. The Meitner MA-1 V2 locks automatically on all inputs from 16bit/44.1KHz up to 24bit/192KHz, including USB via Meitner's unique MFAST system. All incoming signals are upsampled to 2 x DSD.
