GENERAL : The Pass Int-60 is the latest Class A integrated amplifier from Pass

Technical Details : The Pass Labs INT-60 is a completely new amplifier from Pass Labs USA. It is the big brother of the somewhat older INT-30A. The INT-60 is built significantly more solidly than the INT-30A, and the INT-60 is constructed with the latest .8 series circuits, and effectively it is the XA-60.8 that is built in, albeit in a more compact form. The integrated preamplifier stage has also been renewed. What remains is the fact that the Pass Labs INT-60 is fully balanced throughout, from input to output. The power supply has been significantly enlarged, as well as the chassis and heatsinks. The Pass INT-60 plays up to 2 x 30 watts in pure Class A. The INT-60 also features a Bias meter built into the front panel. This meter indicates the idle current, and once it starts to move, the INT-60 exits Class A, but at that point it's already playing very loud. The INT-60 also now has a very clear volume display indicator. Works really nicely with remote control.

Sound : In terms of sound, the INT-60 has become a clearly more modern amplifier. More soundstage, more detail, significantly more dynamics, but fortunately while maintaining the typical neutral, warm sound that Pass Labs is known for. This Pass Labs INT-60 can really handle very large systems, and also has no problem with a set of Avalon Time, Magico Q7 or Vienna Acoustics The Music, to name but a few. The INT-30A absolutely could not handle that.
