The Von Schweikert Unifield 3 is an extremely special loudspeaker. The Von Schweikert Unifield 3 is specifically designed for full range sound, maximum transparency and openness in smaller spaces. But the Unifield 3 also holds its own in larger rooms. The Unifield 3 is a three-part construction with several very special technical innovations and ideas. The heart of the Von Schweikert Unifield 3 is an extremely expensive, hand-built full range unit from Japan with a range of 50Hz – 15000Hz. In the Von Schweikert Unifield 3 it is used from 100Hz to 8000Hz in its own enclosure, which means that the complete musical midrange is reproduced by 1 unit without crossovers. The extreme high frequencies are reproduced by an extremely refined ribbon tweeter, while the sub-bass is reproduced by a completely separate transmission line construction in its own enclosure. All cabinet walls are several centimeters thick and fitted with wood, stone and damping wool. The enclosure is therefore extremely rigid, but that does not apply to the sound. The Von Schweikert Unifield 3 sounds extremely effortless and is very musical. Not technical at all. In our opinion, the Von Schweikert Unifield 3 comes closest to the Quad ESL2905, but without its disadvantages. Full range sound, from very deep to very high, but especially with a very engaging sound. This Von Schweikert Unifield 3 is several years old, is in excellent condition and comes including the very stable natural stone feet. The Von Schweikert Unifield 3 is ready for a listening demo, and is ready for many years of musical enjoyment in your home.
