Technical Details : The Ascendo ZF-3 SE is the Special Edition version of the standard ZF-3 speaker and is also the designer reference. The entire ZF-3 series is built according to phase-correct principles and with the best possible units and filter technologies. The bass is built up by the sealed enclosure and a band-pass system. The woofer is therefore mounted horizontally in the cabinet. The output comes through a port on the front. The midrange is a large magnesium unit, which is mounted above the woofer output. The tweeter is an enormous Ribbon tweeter in its own specially damped enclosure. The tweeter is adjustable for the best possible phase-correct operation. The enclosure itself is made of HDF and stainless steel and is completely dead. The entire speaker stands on an acoustic isolation plinth, and are also mutually isolated by means of Ceraballs. Furthermore, the midbass output and the Ribbon output can be adjusted in 2 positions. The speaker connectors used are the best in the world, the expensive Furutech FT-818 Rhodium. There are 3 pairs, so the speaker can optionally be Biwired or Triwired. Technically speaking, the Ascendo ZF3 SE is a very special system and the sound reproduction is indeed of a very high level.
