Technical : The Ayon Spirit III is a beautifully constructed and sounding tube amplifier. This is the latest model of the Spirit, the Spirit 3. The Ayon Spirit 3 can be switched from Triode mode to Pentode mode. In triode mode we find the amplifier sounds purer and more glowing, while in Pentode mode the amplifier sounds noticeably more dynamic and less rounded. It's a matter of finding the right combination, and a matter of taste. This version is equipped with new Ayon KT88 tubes. The amplifier is entirely aluminum constructed and is equipped with a nice aluminum remote control.

Listening : The new Ayon Spirit III sounds beautiful with the right speakers. You hear a lot of glow in Triode mode and plenty of dynamics in Pentode mode. It's just a matter of switching. The Spirit delivers 2 x 40 Watts in Triode mode and 2 x 60 watts in Pentode mode. Sufficient for many speakers. Speakers with an efficiency of 88dB or higher are recommended. When properly set up and connected, you listen directly to the music and forget about the sound. And that's what it's all about. This Ayon Spirit III is only a few years old and is in mint condition.
