General : The B&W 803D3 is a technically very advanced loudspeaker with a wonderful sound.

Technology : The B&W 803D3 is the smallest B&W loudspeaker with the revolutionary Turbine head. The tweeter is the latest version of the renowned solid diamond dome tweeter from B&W. This is mounted in a very narrow housing and is ventilated at the rear. The midrange is a neodymium-driven version, with Kevlar cone, and without surround, and this is also mounted in its own vibration-free housing. The woofers are Aerofoil cones in a magnesium enclosure and neodymium magnets. Everything is designed to work resonance-free with minimal diffraction. The enclosure thus plays a very important role in the ultimate sound quality. The filters feature high-quality components, and are mounted on thick PCBs. The B&W 803D3 has external bi-wire connections, also of high quality. The cabinet weighs net just over 65Kg and you can therefore expect clean, pure and uncolored sound, and that is exactly what you get ….and more.

Listening :
The B&W 803D3 indeed sounds very good. Detailed, dynamic and beautifully deep and controlled bass reproduction. The B&W 803D3 requires an absolutely good and not too lightweight amplifier to showcase its qualities properly. The spatial imaging is also excellent. Grand and clean. The diamond tweeter reveals many details, the midrange is musical and complete and the bass section is absolutely convincing. The bass goes very deep and remains controlled. Also, these new B&W's can play extremely loud if desired, and that can be quite enjoyable. The new B&W 803D3 is a huge improvement over the series 1 and 2. This B&W 803D3 set comes from the first owner, is official NL import, is in the beautiful satin white finish, is in like new condition and is completely integral.
