Overview : The Dynamis is the flagship model of the Italian brand Diapason. Substantial but not overdone, and highly musical.

Technical Details : The Diapason Dynamis features a unique and versatile enclosure with no fewer than 14 sides. This angular construction significantly reduces internal cabinet resonances, resulting in a less 'boxy' sound. At approximately 100kg per speaker, the Dynamis is a robust and solid unit. This Diapason Dynamis is the ex-demo model specially made for Van Den Hul. This set was made with a solid wood enclosure upon request, making it unique of its kind. The Diapason Dynamis is a 3-way system with a large 30cm woofer featuring an aluminum cone, an 18cm midrange with a paper cone coated with Nextel, and a 29mm silk dome tweeter. All internal wiring is also Van Den Hul cabling, exceptionally pure and musical. The efficiency is average, allowing it to work with many amplifiers, provided the amplifier is of good quality.

Listening Experience : Sonically, the Diapason Dynamis is a pleasant speaker. Music is presented spatially and pleasantly with plenty of detail. An agreeable and natural warm glow pervades the sound, allowing you to comfortably immerse yourself in the recording. This is particularly enjoyable during longer listening sessions. Voices carry substantial weight, delivering them powerfully, the same applies to acoustic instruments. Emotional expression is a strength of many Italian speakers, as it is with the Diapason Dynamis.
