The Doepke DFS 2 F and DFS 4 F are audiophile residual current circuit breakers used in top-tier audio systems. A residual current circuit breaker is a safety switch that detects when current flows to ground, for example when a child inserts a metal object into an outlet. The residual current circuit breaker detects this and switches off the entire circuit group. Very safe, but a standard residual current circuit breaker is disastrous for sound quality.
