The KEF 207/2 is KEF's flagship speaker. The 207/2 is an exquisitely designed 4-way loudspeaker with excellent units. The midrange/treble from 350Hz onwards is handled by the latest Uni-Q unit, a coaxial midrange/tweeter. The tweeter is positioned at the heart of the midrange driver and is made of Titanium. The bass is reproduced by 2 outstanding bass units, and includes a low/midbass unit. The KEF 207/2 is not particularly large, but rather deep at 68cm. Some room to allow these speakers to perform at their best is recommended. Once properly positioned, the KEFs virtually disappear. The sound is completely separated from the speakers, and the spatial imaging is immediately apparent. Bass reproduction is very deep and tightly tuned. The overall picture simply works. Excellent. The KEF 207/2 is moreover quite easy to drive, so even with standard amplifiers the KEF 207/2 sounds wonderful.
