Technical : The Krell KSA-80 is an amplifier that operates entirely in Class A. It is an extremely stable amplifier, built with high-quality components. The Krell KSA-80 dates back to 1988 but sonically rivals modern amplifiers. The Krell KSA-80 has only 1 set of unbalanced inputs and therefore cannot be connected in balanced mode. The Krell KSA-80 delivers a solid 2 x 80 Watts at 8 Ohms; according to Krell, with each halving of impedance the power doubles down to 1 Ohm. So 2 x 80W at 8 Ohms, 2 x 160W at 4 Ohms, 2 x 320W at 2 Ohms and as much as 2 x 640W at 1 Ohm. This makes the Krell KSA-80 an extremely stable amplifier, even with difficult speakers.
