General : Excellent CD/SACD Player from Marantz. The Marantz SA7001KI is essentially a SA7001 but specially designed with extra attention by the chief designer at the time : Ken Ishiwata. Hence the KI at the end. The KI edition of the SA7001 uses better passive components and a ring core transformer. The interior is reinforced and features copper plates. It is equipped with a high-quality Cirrus Logic DAC for converting digital to analog.

Listening : The Marantz SA7001KI sounds beautiful. It creates a spacious soundstage and reproduces the entire recording in a comfortable and engaging manner. Listening fatigue is absolutely not an issue with the Marantz SA7001KI. All in all, a very good CD/SACD player that certainly holds its own against more modern CD/SACD players even today. This Marantz SA7001KI is in excellent condition and comes with the original packaging and 1 month warranty.
