Technical : The Marten Duke 2 is a compact 2-way speaker, featuring high-quality cabinet materials, driver technology and filter technology such as copper foil coils and silver/gold in oil capacitors. It is a beautifully constructed speaker, finished with multiple layers of high-gloss lacquer over the equally elegant piano black colored housing. The Marten Duke 2 features a redesigned filter, a new tweeter and a single wiring connection instead of the bi-wire connection of the Duke 1. The Duke 2 can therefore only be used with single wiring. The Marten Duke 2 is relatively easy to drive with transistor technology, digital amplifiers or even tubes. The matte side-sprayed stands, with their aluminum tubes, are included. These stands can be filled with sand for a tighter and better defined sound and less risk.

Sound : The Marten Duke 1 is already extremely good, but the Marten Duke 2 simply has more quality. Although the Marten Duke 2 is a compact speaker, it fills the entire room with sound. Dynamic, open, extremely transparent and without a trace of harshness. The spatial representation is enormous. Marten has the expensive Accuton drivers very well under control. The Marten Duke 2 sounds larger than it actually is and gives you a wonderful and musical soundstage to enjoy. This pair is finished in the beautiful Piano Black.
