General : 2-way floor-standing speaker from Spendor. This pair is in like-new condition and comes with the optional front panels and original packaging.

Technical : The Spendor A7 is a very solidly built speaker and a 2-way system. A 2-way system has several significant advantages. Especially the fact that only 2 filters are used, instead of 4 filters in a 3-way system, ensures a very clean, phase-correct and naturally sounding audio. The speaker units used are a Spendor proprietary development. The woofer is a fast and lightweight EP77 polymer cone, which allows controlled flexing of the cone. The tweeter is a 22mm dome, protected by a small grille. The filters are well-designed and built with quality materials. The Spendor A7 has (very nice) single wiring connection. No hassle with double cables. The connectors are of very high quality. The Spendor A7 stands on a resonance-damping base with spikes. Spendor always prides itself on the fact that their speakers sound musical, and that the listener will not suffer from listening fatigue, and listening to this A7 is certainly the case.
