The Wilson Watt/Puppy 8, or WP-8, is the successor to the WP-7. The Wilson WP-8 is the latest Wilson Watt/Puppy in the series and also absolutely the best. The WP-8 is again a clear improvement over the WP-7 across all fronts. The drivers used have been improved and the WP-8 features an entirely new tweeter, the same one mounted in the MAXX-2 and MAXX-3. The spatial reproduction has improved and is also larger, and the bass reproduction has become deeper and purer. The Wilson WP-8 is exceptionally beautifully and cleanly constructed. The WP-8 no longer has foam front panels, but standard removable front panels that are secured to the cabinet with metal pins. With the WP-8, Wilson has spent enormous time and energy on quieting the cabinet. The WP-8 cabinet has virtually no energy storage and that translates into an exceptionally beautiful and calm reproduction, yet with profound bass and pure highs. The Wilson WP-8 can be completely phase-aligned in any living space thanks to the included spikes which can adjust the inclination angle of the WATT. The beauty of the Wilson WP-8 is furthermore that it has a reasonably high efficiency, and thus can also be excellently driven by a 20 watt SE tube amplifier. This WP-8 set is complete with all accessories, manual and is delivered in original Wilson Audio Sasha crates.
