General : Special and limited Anniversary Edition of the Harbeth 30.2, created in honor of the 40th anniversary of the renowned British brand Harbeth. This set is supplied with unique handmade stands. Optionally, the Norstone Stylum Square stands ( see photo 5 ).

Technical : The Harbeth 30.2 Anniversary LE is a further development of the Harbeth 30.1, which is itself a further development of the Harbeth 30. The Harbeth 30.2 Anniversary LE has been improved both aesthetically and electronically. The Harbeth 30.2 Anniversary LE features multiple Anniversary designations on the cabinet and looks stunning in a natural Walnut wood veneer finish, whereas the Anniversary Edition was previously only available in a light 'Silver Eucalyptus' finish. The speaker connections are WBT NextGen connectors and the filter uses special polypropylene capacitors made in Britain. The internal wiring is what Harbeth calls the "40th Anniversary ultra-pure OFC internal cable".

The mid/bass driver is a 7.9 inch woofer with a cone made from Harbeth's own Radial2 polymer material. The tweeter is a 1 inch soft-dome, ferrofluid-cooled tweeter from SEAS. The cabinet of the Harbeth 30.2 Anniversary LE is made from multiple layers of MDF and is reinforced on the inside.

Listening : The Harbeth 30.2 Anniversary LE are extremely honest speakers. The sound is always controlled and a pleasure to listen to, and the Harbeth 30.2 Anniversary LE also certainly have dynamic capabilities. The soundstage is spacious and well-organized, and as always, Harbeth speakers excel with vocals and acoustic instruments. There is absolutely no lack of emotion, drive and detail. The Harbeth 30.2 Anniversary LE are clearly a step forward compared to older Harbeth models in terms of articulation, rhythm and refinement. The Harbeth 30.2 Anniversary LE are well-suited to a quality tube amplifier or Class A transistor amplifier. However, with an amplifier with generous power, playing louder is better achieved, and the Harbeth 30.2 Anniversary LE can also play loud very well and in a controlled manner.
