The Sonus Faber Amati Anniversario is the successor to the standard Amati. The cabinet of the Amati Anniversario is made of solid wood, maple. The black lines between the wooden slats are also wood strips. Thin solid ebony, to flatten out resonances. The front is solid HDF finished with leather. The Amati Anniversario is a 3-way loudspeaker system equipped with the finest units. A 25mm ultra-linear Ring radiator tweeter, a very expensive 150mm midrange driver, the same as in the Stradivari, and two 220mm magnesium woofers. The crossover is exclusively populated with the best components, and the filter is housed in a separate enclosure. The efficiency of the Amati Anniversario is pleasantly high at 92dB, so even small amplifiers and tube amplifiers work very well with these top loudspeakers. The solid wooden cabinet is finished in beautiful graphite, lacquered 10 times with special lacquer, and the gloss is incredibly deep. No more beautiful Amati loudspeakers have been made. Sonically, the Amati Anniversario is a very fine loudspeaker. A warm and calm tonal balance, but also very detailed and dynamic. The bass goes very deep and sounds beautifully controlled.
