General : The Sonus Faber Olympica 3 is the largest of the Olympica Series, designed and built in Italy.

Technical : The Sonus Faber Olympica 3 is a beautifully built and sounding floor-standing speaker. Built with the finest materials, this Olympica is a model of elegance. The cabinet of the Sonus Faber Olympica 3 features an asymmetrical design. A loudspeaker shape but adapted. The asymmetry creates a calm internal acoustics. The reflex port is also a Sonus Faber development. No boomy bass ports, but a Stealth Ultraflex port, which works excellently. The crossover is also of very high quality, with very fine Mundorf Evo oil capacitors and Jantzen coils. The top is made of solid walnut wood, finished with leather. The Sonus Faber Olympica 3 is a relatively large 3-way system with very beautiful drivers, and it sounds excellent.

Sound : The sound is typically modern Sonus Faber, so carefully tuned, but also very refined and also dynamic and very transparent. The soundstage is grand, and compelling and as mentioned, also dynamically very refined. The dynamics are therefore excellent and this Sonus Faber Olympica series sounds more dynamic than the earlier series, but while maintaining the vibrant, pleasant and musical reproduction.
