General : The Synergistic Research MiG SX Footers are excellent isolation feet to place under audio equipment such as amplifiers, D/A Converters, CD Players, Preamplifiers, Phono Preamplifiers, Streamers and Power Conditioners. Technology : The Synergistic Research MiG SX Footers have a chassis made of aircraft aluminum combined with carbon. The isolation is achieved through Carbon Tungsten balls. On one side of the MiG SX Footer you will find a flat surface with 3 small balls incorporated, and on the other side of the MiG SX Footer you will find a single large ball. With this design you have the ability to use the Synergistic Research MiG SX Footers in 2 different ways.

Usage : You place 3 pieces under the bottom plate of your equipment (not under the feet already under your equipment), typically 2 pieces at the rear and one at the front. Option number 1 is to place the 2 rear feet with the small balls on top and the large ball on the bottom, and at the front the large ball on top and the small balls on the bottom. This way you get a more focused sound that is more rhythmic and lighter. Option 2 is that you place the 2 rear feet with the large ball on top and the small balls on the bottom, and at the front the small balls on top and the large ball on the bottom. This way you get a fuller and more refined sound with more quietness.

However you place the Synergistic Research MiG SX Footers, you will get a clearer sound image, tighter bass response and better tonal balance. It is recommended to try multiple positions, and also under different equipment.
