General: The Ansuz Acoustics Jumperz A3 is the successor to the Jumperz A2 Bi-Wire Jumpers from Ansuz Acoustics in Denmark. The new Jumperz A3 now belongs to the Copper Series of Ansuz Acoustics. The Copper Series from Ansuz is called the Copper Series because the gold-plated connectors are housed in a solid copper enclosure. The predecessor of the Jumperz A3, the Jumperz A2, had connectors in an aluminum enclosure. And for Ansuz Acoustics, that poses a problem. Audio Group Denmark (under which Ansuz falls) is constantly researching different materials. Titanium, copper, stainless steel and even zirconium are very frequently used. Ansuz is working to completely avoid aluminum in its new products. Aluminum has a negative effect on sound quality, it produces an artificial tone through its resonance behavior and causes hysteresis. Rather than addressing the problems caused by aluminum later, Audio Group Denmark has chosen to tackle the problem at its source and no longer use aluminum in its products. The solid-core conductors are silver-plated and are custom-cut and stripped by a special machine to avoid damaging the conductor surface. In addition to the main conductors, extra conductors are also used which are wound around the main conductors in a double inverted helix pattern. These conductors are called the Double Inverted Helix Coils (DIHC). The Ansuz Jumperz A3 features a larger amount of DIHC compared to the X-TC3. The conductors are effectively shielded with Teflon and tinned copper mesh. The cables are stiff and rigid for better mechanical stability and less resonance in the conductors. Yet the conductors are easy to handle and bend, and thanks to the convenient length of 40cm, the Ansuz Jumperz A3 can be used with many speakers.

In most cases, the standard jumpers supplied with Bi-Wire speakers are of moderate quality, which means sound quality is not optimal. With the Ansuz Jumperz A3, you get much more out of your Bi-Wire speakers. The Ansuz Jumperz A3 ensure optimal signal transfer between the mid/high and low frequency connections on the speakers.

Sound Characteristics with Speaker Cable in the LF (Low Frequencies), Jumpers from LF to HF:

If you have the speaker cable in the LF connections of your speakers, the Bi-Wire jumpers ensure that the drivers for the midtones and high tones receive their signal. As soon as you use the Ansuz Jumperz A3 instead of the standard supplied jumpers, several things become immediately apparent. The mid/high range becomes less turbid, less restless and more details are audible with greater depth in the soundstage. The music becomes more pleasant to listen to, but at the same time you hear more than before. Echoes fade deeper and voices and instruments sound more organic and refined. The Jumperz A3 provide more tranquility, refinement and silence compared to the Jumperz X-TC3.

Speaker Cable Sound Characteristics in the HF (High Frequencies), Jumpers from HF to LF :

If you have the speaker cable connected to the HF connections of your speakers, the Bi-Wire jumpers ensure that the drivers for the low tones receive their signal. As soon as you use the Ansuz Jumperz A3 instead of the standard supplied bridges, several things immediately stand out. The bass reproduction becomes tighter and more musical. The overall sound gets more 'drive' and rhythm, without becoming restless. Particularly with 2-way speakers where the bass woofer also handles a large portion of the midtones, the musical improvement is clearly noticeable when you connect the Ansuz Jumperz A3 in this way. The low and mid tones become cleaner, more natural and smoother. The overall articulation is simply better and listening to the music is a more enjoyable experience. The Jumperz A3 provide less resonant bass reproduction with more definition compared to the Jumperz X-TC3.
