General : The Ansuz Acoustics Speakz X-TC3 is the newest and second most affordable speaker cable from Ansuz Acoustics from Denmark. The Ansuz Speakz X-TC3 replaces the Speakz P2, the letter 'P' is no longer used in the new assortment of Ansuz Acoustics. The new Speakz X-TC3 belongs to the Steel Series of Ansuz Acoustics. The Steel Series of Ansuz is called the Steel Series, because the gold-plated connectors are housed in a stainless steel (CRES 316) enclosure. The predecessor of the Speakz X-TC3, the Speakz P2, had connectors in an aluminium enclosure. And for Ansuz Acoustics there is a problem. Audio Group Denmark (under which Ansuz falls) is constantly investigating different materials. Titanium, Copper, Stainless Steel and even Zirconium are frequently used. Ansuz is working to completely avoid the material aluminium in its new products. Aluminium has a negative effect on the sound, it gives an artificial tone due to its resonance behavior and it causes hysteresis. Rather than solving the problems that aluminium causes later, Audio Group Denmark has chosen to tackle the problem at the source and therefore no longer use aluminium in its products. The conductors are silver-plated and stripped by a special machine to avoid damaging the conductor surface. The Ansuz Speakz X-TC3 is a very tightly twisted cable which reduces noise in the conductors and improves mechanical stability. In the Ansuz Speakz X-TC3 compared to the Speakz X3, in addition to the solid core main conductors, 16 smaller 0.3mm² conductors are also used which are wound in a double Helix pattern. These smaller conductors are called Double Inverted Helix Coils (DIHC). The Ansuz Speakz X-TC3 is hand-made in the Audio Group Denmark factory in Aalborg, Denmark.

Sound Characteristics : The Ansuz Acoustics Speakz X-TC3 has a natural, powerful and spatial sound. The bass is deep, tight and rhythmic and the dynamics are excellent. The Ansuz Speakz X-TC3 clearly has more body and calmness in the sound compared to the already excellent Ansuz Speakz X3 speaker cable. More happens in the soundstage and you hear more layers in the recording. The sound is transparent as it should be but it is not unnecessary spectacle, this is reflected in the Ansuz character which actually all Ansuz cables possess. Everything you hear is pure music, we could talk about certain details and accents. But with Ansuz Acoustics, we don't need to talk about that, instead we talk about the enormous musical qualities that the products of Ansuz Acoustics bring with them. The Ansuz Speakz X-TC3 is absolutely no exception to this. The spatial imaging is large, airy and pleasant and you are immediately involved with the performers and the music. The time to listen to sounds is over, the time to listen to music has begun.
