General: The Ansuz Acoustics Digitalz D-TC3 Gold Signature is the latest version of the flagship digital interlink model from Ansuz Acoustics in Denmark. The Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Gold Signature replaces the Digitalz D-TC Gold Signature. The new Digitalz D-TC3 Gold Signature is the top digital interlink model from the flagship Titanium Series of Ansuz Acoustics and the best digital interlink that Ansuz Acoustics has made to date. The Titanium Series from Ansuz is called the Titanium Series because the housing of the gold-plated connectors and cable splitter blocks is made from solid titanium. The predecessor of the Digitalz D-TC3 Gold Signature, the Digitalz D-TC Gold Signature, had connectors in an aluminum housing with signature coating around it. And for Ansuz Acoustics, there is a problem. Audio Group Denmark (under which Ansuz falls) is continuously researching different materials. Titanium, Copper, Stainless Steel and even Zirconium are frequently used. Ansuz is working to completely avoid aluminum in its new products. Aluminum has a negative effect on sound, it produces an artificial tone through resonant behavior and it creates hysteresis. Instead of solving the problems caused by aluminum later, Audio Group Denmark chose to tackle the problem at its source and therefore no longer use aluminum in its products. The Digitalz D-TC3 Gold Signature owes its name to the fact that the conductors are not only silver-plated, but then also gold-plated. The conductors are stripped by a special machine to avoid damaging the conductor surface, and the cable is even triple-shielded. The Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Gold Signature is a very tightly twisted cable which reduces noise in the conductors and improves mechanical stability, yet the cable is easy to handle. With the Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Gold Signature, in addition to the solid-core main conductors, Double Inverted Helix Coils (DIHC) are used. The Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Gold Signature has twice the amount of DIHC compared to the Digitalz D3, so even less noise enters the signal and even less inductance is generated. Furthermore, in the Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Gold Signature (RCA) a double amount of Ansuz Anti Aerial Resonance Coils (AARC) is also applied compared to the Digitalz D3. The conductors are effectively isolated in Teflon with a mesh of tinned copper around it; in the case of the Digitalz D-TC3 Gold Signature, double insulation is even applied. The Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Gold Signature is handmade at the Audio Group Denmark factory in Aalborg, Denmark.

Reference Techniques: The Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Gold Signature has Active Cable Tesla Coils and 4 pieces of Active Zirconium AARC on board; the active Tesla Coils and AARC are 3-4 times more effective than the passive Tesla Coils from Ansuz Acoustics. However, the active Tesla Coils must be powered before they can do their job. For this purpose, a block with a 3.5mm jack input is attached to the Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Gold Signature. Using the included jack cable, you can connect the Digitalz D-TC3 Gold Signature to an Ansuz PowerSwitch or Ansuz PowerBox. With the Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Gold Signature, the use of a PowerSwitch or PowerBox is required. What the Ansuz D-TC3 Gold Signature also features is an active charged dielectric. The Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Gold Signature takes a very significant step further in terms of musicality, liveliness, airiness, detail and spatial layout compared to the lower-tier cables from Ansuz Acoustics.

Sound Characteristics: The Ansuz Acoustics Digitalz D-TC3 Gold Signature is among the best digital interlinks in the world. Everything you hear is pure music, space and air in a pleasant yet very detailed and dynamically refined way. The bass is deep, tight and very rhythmic. Compared to the Digitalz D-TC3, the Digitalz D-TC3 Gold Signature has even more musicality, depth and emotion. The soundstage is larger, deeper and better laid out. The Ansuz Digitalz D-TC3 Gold Signature is still a clear step better than the already fantastic Digitalz D-TC3 Supreme.
